We believe good design should do more than look beautiful, it should feel right, work well, and nurture interaction.

Every ROGO piece is made in small batches using recycled materials sourced from the UK.

We iterate and refine our designs so they last a long time. We care about where our materials come from, how our lamps are used, and the people who live with them.

Our story

It started with a gift...

Rory made a lamp for his girlfriend Holly one Valentine’s Day, something simple, sculptural, and personal. She loved it!

That one lamp turned into an idea, then into a small project while Rory was finishing university. After receiving early funding support, the designs grew, the tools got louder, and the garage became a workshop.

What started as a uni side project is now ROGO Studios, a lighting design studio pioneering local manufacturing, making modern lamps from recycled bio-material .

Every piece is made by hand, built to last, and designed to make spaces feel calm.

As our first recycled bioplastic supplier went out of business, it pushed us to collaborate with new UK-based makers.

The Blip Lamp now proudly support all UK businesses, including our beautiful twisted cable being wired up and PAT tested in the UK, with full CE compliance.

Every lamp we make carries that story of small-batch collaboration and a quiet reminder that waste can be reimagined.

How We Make Things

We design, 3D print, and assemble every lamp ourselves from our small studio in Warwickshire.

Each piece starts as a digital design using algorithmic design, inspired by nature, printed layer by layer using recycled filament made from UK waste streams, including reclaimed fishing nets and industrial plastic.

Every piece is made by hand, built to last, and designed to make spaces feel calm.

Our lamps are finished by hand, packed in recyclable materials, and sent directly to their new homes.

We’re not trying to be perfect, just better. We believe in making beautiful things, locally, thoughtfully, and improving with every step.
