Make With Us

Make with ROGO

We design and make our own lamps in small batches, in our own workshop, from recycled plastic. We also do it for other people.

ROGO Studios is a micro-manufacturing studio. If you have a product, a part or an idea that sits somewhere between a one-off prototype and a full factory run, we can help you design it, test it and make it in the UK.

What we do

Design for 3D printing

Taking an idea or an existing design and making it work as a printed product: wall thickness, print orientation, surface finish, strength, assembly. Done properly, this is the difference between a nice render and a product that comes off the printer right every time.

Prototyping

Fast, iterative prototypes in recycled and virgin materials so you can hold it, test it and change it before committing.

Batch production

Short and medium runs on our own print farm in Warwickshire. No tooling costs, no huge minimum orders, and the freedom to change the design between batches.

Recycled materials

We print every day in recycled PLA, recycled in the UK from UK and EU plastic waste, and we test new material streams as they appear. We can advise on what works, what doesn't, and how to tell the story honestly.

Electronics and lighting

LED integration, rechargeable systems, drivers and wiring, and making it all fit inside something that still looks good. Lighting is what we know best.

Assembly, packaging and sourcing

Finished, assembled and packed product ready to sell. Where parts need to come from elsewhere, we have hands-on experience sourcing from UK and Chinese suppliers.

Who it's for

  • Designers and makers who want to get a product made without buying a print farm
  • Brands and retailers looking for own-label or limited-edition objects, made in the UK
  • Hospitality, events and interiors needing bespoke lighting or fixtures in small quantities
  • Start-ups who need to go from prototype to first sellable batch, and test the market before investing in tooling

How it works

  1. Talk. Tell us what you are making, how many and by when. We will be straight with you about whether 3D printing is the right route.
  2. Prototype. We design, print and refine until it is right.
  3. Pilot batch. A small run to prove quality, timings and cost.
  4. Production. Repeatable batches, made to the same standard as our own products.

Why ROGO

ROGO was founded by Rory Deely, a product design engineer with a first-class degree in Product Design & Technology from Loughborough and a day job designing lighting hardware. We are not a print bureau. We are a design studio that runs its own production, so we think about how a product looks, feels and sells, not just whether it prints.

Every lamp we sell has been through the same process we would take your product through. That is the proof.

Email hello@rogo.uk with a few lines on what you are making, rough quantities and timings. Sketches, CAD files or photos all help. We reply to every enquiry ourselves.
